Callaway Gardens is not just a fun place to visit, it's a fun place to work The Front Desk Agent is a key position at the Lodge & Spa. The Front Desk Agent serves as an information source for all guests. S/he is responsible for informing guests of the features at Callaway and providing recommendations on activities and dining in the surrounding area. The Front Desk Agent is responsible for checking guests in & out of the Lodge and Spa. S/he is resonsible for collecting credit cards, cash and checks for payment and reconciliations;filing registration cards, creating gift cards, re-stocking inventory, running reports. This position is "front and center" and visible to all who travel through the lobby. The Front Desk Agent must display a professional appearance and truly enjoy working with people. In addition, the Front Desk Agent must have the ability to work independently following prescribed standard operating procedures. Excellent guest service and computer skills required. Knowledge of Opera PMS, Word and Excel software preferred, but not required. Ability to multi-task and perform under pressure. Hotel or resort experience preferred.
