Job Description:
St Francis HospitalPreparation of laboratory specimens for
microscopic evaluation by the pathologist through the use of
microtomy, histochemistry, special staining and other appropriate
techniques.Job Requirements:Minimum EducationAssociate's degree;
Exception: Approved under the ASCP Grandfather clause inHistology;
certified prior to 2004.LicensesHT(ASCP), HT(NCA), or equivalent
registry and meets CMS and GDHR requirements.Minimum
WorkExperienceSix (6) months of histology laboratory training
preferred. Additionally, one(1) year of on-the-job training with
five years of experience can substituteAssociate's degree.Equal
