the Product Quality Manager, the Records & Calibration Supervisor
is responsible for the Records and Calibration team for the Geared
Turbo Fan at Columbus Engine Center. This position will be
responsible to manage the calibration program for the Columbus
Engine Center and the records package delivery for all GTF
engines.Key Responsibilities:Define strategy, plans, and execute
Records and Calibration department to ensure compliance with
regulatory, internal, and external customer requirements.Analyzes
and makes recommendations for the implementation and execution of
Quality Management Systems program initiativesAssist with
developing quality control policies.Control quality of laboratory
and production efforts.Leading a team that is empowered to make
decisions that meet safety, quality, delivery, and cost
objectives.Identify opportunities for documentation of quality
requirements to establish and implement improvements.Investigate
new and improved methods of calibration that can be used to improve
efficiency and reduce cost.Transparency in quality operations
performance and plans to address gaps in meeting daily business
objectives.Collaborate with the quality, manufacturing, and process
engineering teams in addressing quality concerns and continuous
improvement opportunities.Lead the working team to develop
continuous improvement opportunities to improve efficiency and meet
customer objectives.Basic Qualifications: This position requires a
Bachelor's degreeMinimum four years' experience in AviationUS
Citizenship required due to government contractsPreferred
Qualifications: Turbine engine overhaul, repair, or related
experience desiredPC Skills, including word processing, spreadsheet
and graphics software preferred. (Specifically, Microsoft Word,
Excel and PowerPoint + Windows 97).SAP FamiliarizationStrong
organizational and planning.Strong interpersonal skillsMust be
willing to relocate to Columbus, GAWhat is my role type?In addition
