Job duties and responsibilities include, but not limited to:
Participate in installing all instrumentation and electrical
Troubleshoot problems with control systems and complex equipment
associated with pipeline pump stations, flow computers and receipt
meters and provers, product quality equipment including gas
Run conduit, pull wire, change motors and maintain lighting systems
and basic motor controls.
Maintain, modify and troubleshoot Programmable Logic Controllers
(PLC) to maximize use of control technology and minimize
installation and operating costs.
Maintain advanced monitoring devices (gas, flame, or fire
detectors, vibration and temperature monitors).
The ability to read P&lD and electrical diagrams and other
complex electrical drawings.
Interpret plant electrical diagrams.
Update electrical drawings.
Install, troubleshoot and maintain end devices, alarms, shutdown
systems, process controls, variable frequency drives, etc.
Perform preventative and general maintenance on electronic and
pneumatic equipment and parts associated with this equipment.
Provide training and technical support.
This position is cross trained in Operational and pipeline ROW
functions. These duties include:
Right of way duties including interaction with Land owners and
Respond to Call Outs
Quality Control product testing
Education & Experience Required:
High School diploma or equivalent is required
A Vocational-Technical certificate or an Associates degree in a
related field is preferred
A minimum of 3 years of Electrical Experience required
Candidate must have computer skills including the use of word
processing, spreadsheet, and email software
Prior experience with LPG would be beneficial
