Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Actively prospects and qualifies new sales leads cultivating those
into customers. Compiles lists of prospective customers for use as
sales leads, based on information from ad inquiries, trade shows,
direct mail responses, aged leads, dealer resellers, business
directories, Internet Web sites, and other sources.
Makes outbound lead follow-up calls to potential and existing
customers by visiting them at their offices and job sites on a
regular basis and on as need basis. Actively follows up with
telephone and e-mail to qualify leads and sell products and
Handles inbound sales lead calls to convert calls into
Overcomes technical and business objections of prospective
customers. Communicates effectively with customers, vendors and
internal personnel to ensure a positive customer experience. Must
have negotiating skills.
Actively provides product demos to customers. Introduces new
services and solutions for customers to be more efficient in their
businesses. Broaden product mix at each account.
Emphasizes salable features, quotes prices and credit terms, and
prepares sales orders for orders obtained.
Builds and maintains customer relationships.
Investigates and resolves customer problems with all Lowe Electric
Service issues. Escalates customer issues to the appropriate
departments and personnel when necessary.
Attends trade shows, sales meetings, and vending product training
in-house or off-site.
Meets Sales Manager sales goals and quotas.
Other duties as assigned as necessitated by business
this job has no supervisory responsibilities, they will manage
their customer accounts by directing inside sales support on how to
service their customers. They will be responsible to manage their
time to be productive in making sales.
Education and/or Experience:
- Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year College or university
- Must have at least two years related experience and/or
Equivalent combination of education and experience will be
- Ability and confidence to make cold calls.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules,
operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure
blueprints, and engineering specifications.
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or
employees of organization.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of
measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and
interpret bar graphs.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out
instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram
Knowledge of accounting software, contact management systems,
internet software, inventory software, manufacturing software,
order processing systems, and Microsoft Office
Must have a valid driver's license and dependable automobile with

grasp/handle/feel, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear. The
employee is occasionally required to walk.
The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and
regularly lift and/or move more than 100 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close
vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth
perception and ability to adjust focus.
