Job Description:
St Francis HospitalJobDescriptionResponsiblefor personnel,
management, and the coordination of nursing service activitiesfor
the scheduled working shift, in accordance with established
philosophy,objectives, and policies for the hospital to ensure
safe, efficient, andtherapeutic patient care. Relateseffectively
with other shifts for continuity of care and takes charge, in
theabsence of the Director of Nursing Services.Job
Requirements:Minimum EducationGraduateof an Associate's Program in
Nursing Required Graduate of a Bachelor's Program in Nursing
Preferred RequiredSkillsRequires criticalthinking skills, decisive
judgment and the ability to work with minimalsupervision. Must be
able to work in a stressful environment and takeappropriate action.
Certifications:Basic Life Support (BLS) ACLS requiredLicenses:Valid
Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the State of Georgia.
MinimumWork ExperienceOne (1) year--ofacute care nursing
experience. Charge Nurse experience is preferred.Equal opportunity
