Job Summary Under general direction, perform complex analytical and
administrative work in the planning, design, installation, and
maintenance of new and existing servers, computer, and SAN
infrastructure components. Serve as a resource within IT on server
management. May lead the work and provide guidance to junior Server
Analyst. Duties and Responsibilities Design, deploy, configure,
integrate, maintain and troubleshoot: Linux systems within a
complex IT infrastructure Server-side configurations of middleware
and ecommerce applications Infrastructure monitoring and reporting
tools RHEL Satellite Server and Ansible automation Perform:
Performance tuning and ensure high availability of infrastructure
Linux hardening and patching CSR generation and SSL Cert
renewals/deployments Change management functions within change
manage processes On-call support as necessary to support business
objectives Collaborate regarding: IT infrastructure initiatives and
projects DevOps and operational efficiencies, conflicts and
opportunities Budgets and strategic planning IT corporate
governance, audit compliance and policies Disaster Recovery
infrastructure planning, documentation and testing Document
incidents, issues, project plans, configurations, playbooks, etc.
Other duties as deemed necessary Qualification Requirements Minimum
Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related
field or Minimum Work Experience: Six (6) years of experience
providing Linux server support in a moderately complex IT
environment Preferred Licensure/Certification(s): Red Hat Certified
Engineer Red Hat Certified Architect Linux Professional Institute -
LPIC-3 VMWare Certified Professional Knowledge, Skills and
Abilities Strong knowledge of the Operating System in use. Strong
knowledge of IT infrastructure with an proficiency managing
servers. Strong knowledge of Shell Scripting and/or Ansible
Automation. Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, SSL Certificate
management. Time management skills and the ability to work on
multiple projects or competing demands. Organizational skills and
the ability to efficiently prioritize assignments/work. Good
communication skills and the ability to effectively communicate in
English both verbally and in writing. Good customer service skills
and the ability to demonstrate courtesy and professionalism with
internal and external customers. Ability to lead and provide
guidance to coworkers. Ability to be customer centric. Ability to
work independently with limited supervision. Ability to work in a
team environment. Ability to travel as necessary (domestic and
international). Ability to maintain regular and predictable
attendance. Ability to work in a constant state of alertness.
Physical Requirements Normal Office Environment with Limited Travel
