Job Description:
As a Poultry Plant Manager at Koch Foods, you will oversee all
aspects of production and operations within one of our key
facilities. This position entails managing a dynamic team and
ensuring the execution of production processes while adhering to
quality, safety, and efficiency standards. You will be responsible
for implementing innovative strategies to optimize the supply
chain, enhancing product quality, and maintaining the highest
standards of food safety. The role requires a leader who can
collaboratively work with diverse teams, drive continuous
improvement, and align with Koch Foods' values and vision in
delivering outstanding poultry products. Direct and manage plant
operations for production, maintenance, quality, shipping, and
receiving. Coordinate plant activities through planning with
departmental managers to ensure manufacturing objectives are
accomplished in a timely and cost-effective manner. Implement and
enforce quality control and safety measures. Develop production
schedules and maintain inventory levels, ensuring stringent
compliance with health and safety regulations. Review and analyze
budget reports, and make adjustments to contain expenditures.
Increase production, assets capacity, and flexibility while
minimizing costs and maintaining quality standards. Develop systems
and processes that track and optimize productivity and standards,
metrics, and performance targets to ensure effective return on
assets. Strong leadership and people management skills Proficiency
in process improvement and inventory management Excellent
troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Operational planning and
execution Knowledge of safety, quality, and cost objectives
Familiarity with regulatory requirements for food processing
