Job Description:
Koch Foods, a leader in the U.S. poultry processing industry, is
seeking a dedicated CDL Feed Haul Driver to join our transportation
team. This role is crucial in ensuring the timely and safe
transportation of feed supplies between our facilities and farms.
As part of our logistics operation, you will play a key role in
maintaining the efficiency of our supply chain, directly impacting
our ability to deliver high-quality poultry products to our
clients. Safely operate a feed delivery truck within DOT
regulations and company policies. Ensure timely delivery of feed to
various company locations according to schedule. Maintain logs of
working hours and of vehicle service and repair status, following
applicable state and federal regulations. Inspect vehicles for
mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative
maintenance. Plan routes and meet delivery schedules. Document and
log work/rest periods and kilometers spent driving and retain
fuel/toll receipts. Comply with truck driving rules and regulations
(size, weight, route designations, parking, and break periods) as
well as with company policies and procedures. Maneuver trucks into
loading or unloading positions. Report defects, accidents, or
violations. Strong driving record with no traffic violations
Knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations No
recent moving or driving violations Adaptability and foresight to
handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions etc.)
Ability to handle physical workload Effective communication skills
Valid CDL-A license Must have a clean driving record Experience
with electronic management of delivery documentation
