Job Description Job Description Business Litigation Associate Attorney – Atlanta, GA Direct Counsel is representing a prestigious Am Law 100 global law firm seeking a Business Litigation Associate to join its Atlanta office . This is a full-time opportunity to work on high-stakes, complex commercial litigation for clients across a wide range of industries. The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of litigation experience and a proven ability to manage cases independently, lead key aspects of litigation, and collaborate closely with senior attorneys on strategy and trial preparation. Key Responsibilities Handle all phases of business litigation , from intake through trial or resolution. Manage depositions, hearings, motion practice, discovery, and client strategy with minimal supervision. Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and other litigation documents. Collaborate with a team to develop and implement case strategies for complex business, commercial, and class action matters , including trade secrets disputes. Maintain strong client communication and provide strategic guidance on legal matters. Qualifications 3–5 years of complex commercial litigation experience at a top law firm. J.D. from a nationally recognized law school , with strong academic performance (top 10% preferred). Law review, moot court, or trial team experience preferred. Strong research, writing, and oral advocacy skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team-oriented environment. Admission to the Georgia Bar , or eligibility for admission in the near future.
