Job Description Job Description Job Summary LHH is recruiting a
Real Estate Paralegal supporting a fast-paced real estate practice
where accuracy, organization, and client service drive success. As
a Real Estate Paralegal, you will manage critical components of
commercial and/or residential transactions from contract to
closing. You'll coordinate with attorneys, lenders, title
companies, brokers, developers, and clients to ensure smooth,
timely, and compliant closings. Key Responsibilities Prepare,
review, and organize purchase agreements, leases, amendments,
affidavits, closing documents, and title documents Draft HUD/CD
settlement statements and closing packages Prepare and track
critical deadlines across commercial and/or residential
transactions Review and resolve issues in title commitments,
including exceptions, liens, judgments, and survey matters Assist
attorneys with due diligence, including zoning, permitting, lien
searches, corporate standing, and entity verification Coordinate
communication between buyers, sellers, lenders, brokers, title
agents, surveyors, and internal teams Schedule and manage closing
dates, ensure required documentation is completed, executed, and
delivered Handle pre-closing, closing, and post-closing logistics
Organize signed originals, escrow items, and disbursements Record
deeds, mortgages, UCCs, and other instruments with county and state
agencies Perform title examinations and prepare summaries for
attorney review Identify and resolve title issues prior to closing
Work directly with underwriters to prepare title policies Ensure
all requirements, endorsements, and exceptions comply with lender
instructions Prepare final settlement packages for distribution
Maintain electronic and physical file systems in compliance with
firm policy Track and finalize issuance of owners' and lenders'
title policies Manage outstanding items, escrows, and post-closing
obligations Requirements 2-5 years of experience as a Real Estate
Paralegal (commercial, residential) Paralegal certificate preferred
is A bachelor's degree is a plus Proficiency with SoftPro, Qualia,
RamQuest, TitleExpress, or similar closing software Strong
Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), and Adobe proficiency
Strong understanding of real estate closing processes, title
review, and escrow procedures Ability to manage multiple concurrent
transactions with strict deadlines Experience with commercial real
estate (CRE) transactions: acquisitions, dispositions, refinances,
leasing Familiarity with entity formation and corporate document
review Experience assisting with loan closings for private lenders,
banks, or institutional investors Benefits: Depending on the
