Job Description:
Position Description: We are seeking a highly experienced Senior
Snowflake ETL Developer / Technical Lead to lead the design,
development, and delivery of complex, enterprise-scale data
platforms and analytics solutions. This role combines deep
technical expertise in Snowflake and modern ETL frameworks with
strong leadership and product management capabilities. The ideal
candidate will lead technical development teams and act as the
product owner for the data application, ensuring alignment with
business strategy, scalability requirements, and long-term platform
evolution. Your future duties and responsibilities: Technical
Leadership & Architecture . Lead the design and implementation of
large-scale Snowflake data warehouse solutions . Design and build
highly scalable, secure, and optimized ETL/ELT pipelines . Define
data modeling strategies (Dimensional, Data Vault, Hybrid models) .
Establish best practices for data ingestion, transformation,
orchestration, and performance tuning . Ensure data quality,
governance, lineage, and compliance standards . Drive CI/CD,
DevOps, and Infrastructure-as-Code strategies for data platforms .
Review code, mentor developers, and enforce engineering excellence
standards ETL / Data Engineering . Develop and optimize complex
ETL/ELT workflows using tools such as: Snowflake (Tasks, Streams,
Snowpipe) Python / SQL / Spark . Integrate structured and
semi-structured data (JSON, XML, Parquet, etc.) . Design real-time
and batch data pipelines . Optimize query performance and warehouse
cost efficiency in Snowflake . Implement data validation,
reconciliation, and monitoring frameworks Product Management &
Stakeholder Leadership . Act as the product owner for the data
application/platform . Gather and translate business requirements
into scalable technical solutions . Define product roadmaps and
prioritize enhancements . Manage cross-functional stakeholders
including business teams, analytics, and IT . Ensure deliverables
meet business KPIs and SLAs . Drive continuous improvement and
innovation in data solutions Project & Team Leadership . Coordinate
with enterprise architecture and cloud infrastructure teams .
Manage technical dependencies, estimations, and delivery timelines
. Mentor junior and mid-level engineers Required qualifications to
be successful in this role: . 10 years of experience in ETL/Data
Engineering . 5 years of hands-on experience with Snowflake in
enterprise environments . Proven experience leading complex,
large-scale data transformation programs . Strong expertise in:
Advanced SQL and query optimization Data modeling (Dimensional &
Data Vault) Cloud platforms (especially Azure) Data orchestration
tools (Airflow, ADF, etc.) . Experience implementing secure data
architectures (RBAC, masking, encryption) . Strong understanding of
data governance, metadata management, and lineage . Demonstrated
experience serving as a technical lead or architect . Experience
managing product lifecycle and stakeholder engagement Preferred
Qualifications . Snowflake certification (SnowPro Advanced
preferred) . Experience with dbt and modern ELT frameworks .
Knowledge of BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker) . Experience with
real-time data streaming (Kafka, Kinesis) . Agile/Scrum product
ownership experience . Experience in regulated industries (Finance,
Healthcare, etc.) Key Competencies . Strategic thinker with strong
architectural vision . Strong leadership and mentoring skills .
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities .
Ability to manage ambiguity in highly complex environments . Strong
analytical and problem-solving skills What Success Looks Like in
This Role . Successfully leads delivery of complex Snowflake data
platforms . Aligns data strategy with business objectives .
Improves platform performance, reliability, and data quality .
Builds a high-performing, technically strong data engineering team
. Experience working with Snowflake or other cloud data warehousing
platforms. . Certification in SQL or related technologies.
Familiarity with SAFe Agile or Agile Scrum development methodology.

role. The determination of this range includes various factors not
limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and
licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for
merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at
or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions
are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A
reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S.
