Every day, Global Payments makes it possible for millions of people to move money between buyers and sellers using our payments solutions for credit, debit, prepaid and merchant services. - Our worldwide team helps over 3 million companies, more than 1,300 financial institutions and over 600 million cardholders grow with confidence and achieve amazing results. - We are driven by our passion for success and we are proud to deliver best-in-class payment technology and software solutions. - Join our dynamic team and make your mark on the payments technology landscape of tomorrow. - Responsible for overseeing the engineering function of the Issuer Technology Governance Risk and Compliance Engineering team. - Leads a team of engineers responsible for web accessibility engineering, risk engineering, and audit/compliance engineering. - Reports to the VP of the Issuer Technology GRCE team, and together, establishes and implements the engineering strategy for the governance of web accessibility testing, application security testing, and the automation of audit and compliance evidence.Essential Functions:Manages a team of web accessibility engineers who are responsible for the testing of Issuer Technology distributed applications. - Oversees governance of the Issuer Technology Web Accessibility Program, including establishing engineering practices and expectations - across the Issuer Technology segment.Manages a team of risk engineers who are responsible for the governance of application security practices for Issuer Technology distributed applications. - Oversees governance of application security programs and practices across the Issuer Technology segment, including establishing engineering practices and expectations across the organization.Develops risk engineers in their technical skill sets so that they can actively participate in the remediation of application security defects. - -Creates and implements a strategy to move Issuer Technology away from the manual collection of audit evidence to various audit requests, such as PCI-DSS, SOC 1, SOC 2, SOX, NACHA, FBA (Federal Banking Agency) and various internal and external audits. - Collaborates with resources within the Issuer Technology GRCE team and with other Issuer - Technology delivery engineering teams to create automated solutions for the delivery of audit evidence.Mentors web accessibility engineers and risk engineers on industry best practices. - Implements best practices across the Issuer Technology segment.Serves as a primary point of contact for all matters regarding web accessibility. - Serves as the primary owner of the relationship with our third party web accessibility vendor. - Participates in budget planning and contract negotiations. -Serves as a primary point of contact for Information Security resources and other vulnerability management teams within the organization on all application security matters regarding Issuer Technology applications. - Implements industry best practices into risk management and risk engineering practices and procedures. -Speaks to all matters regarding web accessibility, application security, and the SDLC to any auditor. - Collaborates with resources within the Issuer Technology GRCE team to respond to internal and external audit questions regarding Issuer Technology's security program.Collaborates and presents relative information and metrics to Issuer Technology application owners and members of management. - Uses strong collaboration and networking skills to hold all Issuer Technology engineering teams to web accessibility policies and information security standards. - -Must have or pursue upon entering the role an Internal Security Assessor (ISA) certification. - Also preferred upon entering or assuming role, one or more of the following: - PCI Professional (PCIP), Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP), CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional), and/or AWS Cloud Practitioner.Minimum QualificationsBachelor's DegreeRelevant Experience or Degree in: related field of study from an accredited university is required; however, relevant experience in lieu of a degree may be considered.Typically a minimum of 8 yearsRelated professional experience including a minimum of 5-6 years experience in a managerial or matrix management position.Global Payments Inc. is an equal opportunity employer.Global Payments provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy), national origin, ancestry, age, marital status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, disability, veteran status, genetic information or any other basis protected by law.
