Position SummaryUnder the direction of the HR Manager, this position is responsible for designing, getting approval for and managing the total Benefits programs for HTGP.Essential FunctionsCorporate:Adheres to the Hyundai Transys Georgia Powertrain (HTGP) policies and proceduresLearns, demonstrates and upholds HTGP Core ValuesComplies with all HTGP Certification standards; Management System (IATF16949), Environmental ISO 14001 and Health and Safety ISO 45001 policies and proceduresTreats all HTGP team members with respect and professional courtesyAlways strives to maintain a positive work environmentPerforms additional assignments / duties as required by management EHS:Adheres to all safety policies and proceduresComplies with all safety policies and 5S clean philosophy to maintain a safe, clean working environmentConsistently meets company safety goals Technical:Administers Payroll programsReviews timesheets for completion and accuracyComputes wagesVerifies accuracy of contingent workforce invoice dataProcesses and executes wage garnishmentsEnters new team member's data into the timekeeping and payroll systemsMaintains and updates payroll recordsTracks leave timeTracks vacation timeIssues and records adjustments to pay related to previous errors or retroactive increasesCreates approvals for payroll related payments within SAP systemProcesses allowances, bonuses and other approved compensationMaintains and stays current to laws and regulations regarding payrollContinuous improvement of payroll processed and proceduresEducationFour Year Degree or comparable background of work related experience in Human Resources related discipline required.ReportingReports to: HR Manager or designeeDirect Reports: NoneCompetency RequirementsCORE COMPETENCIESCommunication: Works to insure respectful, timely, accurate and appropriate communication across all levels of the organization.Initiative: Identifies problems and takes action in light of this identification to address current or future problems.
