Job Description Growing and financially sound non-profit health
center providing primary care in Macon, GA and the surrounding area
is seeking to add a primary care physician (IM/FM/IMPed) to their
fantastic team. Their Macon site is recognized by NCQA as a Level 3
Patient Centered Medical Home. Family medicine physicians, nurse
practitioners and a part time licensed clinical social worker
provide care to over 5,000 patients. Pharmacist and in-house
pharmacy program. The position offers manageable office hours, no
hospital rounds or OB. Call is shared with a call group of
community physicians. - Competitive salary and benefits, employer

- We have a full-time referral specialist to assist patients with
access to other needed services; other nursing staff supports
providers in patient care and follow-up. - Federal and private
foundation grant funding allows us to provide care to insured and
uninsured alike. The Community: Macon is a medium sized city with a
historic downtown area. It is home to the Mercer University School
of Medicine. Fueled in part by Mercer University's growth, downtown
is undergoing a boom in loft living and the conversion of historic
properties to new restaurants and businesses. Macon is also home to
Wesleyan College, the first college chartered to grant degrees to
women, Middle Georgia State University, and Mercer Schools of Law
and Engineering. Because of its central location in the heart of
Georgia, Macon allows easy access to Atlanta, Savannah, and other
