Job Description:
Encompass Health Corporation seeks a dedicated Speech
Pathologist to join our diverse team focused on providing
comprehensive speech therapy and rehabilitation services within our
inpatient and outpatient settings. This role is pivotal in
diagnosing and treating speech, language, and communication
disorders, engaging with patients ranging from pediatric to
geriatric. You'll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to
craft individualized care plans, ensuring the highest standards of
patient care and rehabilitation outcomes. Assess and diagnose
speech, voice, hearing, and language impairments. Develop and
implement tailored treatment plans based on patient needs and
goals. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to integrate
speech therapy with overall patient care. Provide patient and
family education on speech disorders and communication techniques.
Maintain accurate patient records and track progress reports. Adapt
speech therapy practices to meet the evolving standards of care and
advancements in technology. Expertise in various speech and
language disorders Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively in an interdisciplinary team
Proficient in using speech therapy technology and equipment Strong
analytical and problem-solving skills Medical Insurance Dental
Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Current state licensure as a
Speech-Language Pathologist Certificate of Clinical Competence in
Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American
Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
