Job Description:

Encompass Health Corporation is seeking a dedicated Speech Pathologist to join our interdisciplinary team, providing comprehensive speech therapy and rehabilitation services within our inpatient, outpatient, and home health settings. The ideal candidate will assess and treat individuals with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders, developing patient-centered treatments to enhance communication abilities and quality of life. Evaluate patient speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing skills. Develop and implement tailored treatment plans based on patient needs and goals. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to integrate speech therapy with overall patient care. Document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary. Educate patients and families about communication strategies and coping mechanisms. Assist in the development of speech therapy programs and initiatives. Strong understanding of speech-language pathology practices Ability to diagnose and create unique treatment plans Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Proficiency in using speech therapy equipment and software Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Valid state license in Speech-Language Pathology Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA
