- No weekends or holidays required - Employment Type: Travel
(Travel Nurse / Travel RN) - Estimated Weekly Salary: $1,690–$1,780
Job Requirements - Minimum of 2 years of recent
perioperative/operating room nursing experience (OR RN,
perioperative RN) - Active Registered Nurse (RN) license - BLS
(Basic Life Support) certification required - Experience in
thoracic surgery, surgical pathology, sub-acute, pediatric PACU, or
pediatric OR preferred - Must be able to work on-site in Atlanta,
GA - Travelers must reside at least 50 miles outside of Atlanta, GA
(local candidates not eligible) Responsibilities - Provide direct
perioperative patient care in the operating room, ensuring patient
safety and comfort throughout pre-, intra-, and post-operative
phases - Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and
surgical technologists to deliver high-quality surgical care -
Prepare, maintain, and monitor a sterile environment for surgical
procedures using proper sterile technique - Monitor patient status
and respond to physiologic changes during surgery with prompt
critical thinking - Accurately document all perioperative patient
care, surgical counts, and clinical notes in the electronic chart -
Participate in pre- and post-operative patient education, discharge
