Job Description:

Jackson Health Professionals invites passionate and skilled Surgical Technologists with a specialization in Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) procedures to join our travel team. This position entails assisting during complex cardiac surgeries, ensuring all equipment is functioning properly, and maintaining sterile environments. This role provides an opportunity to work in different locations, expand your skills, and engage in a dynamic healthcare setting. Prepare the CVOR and ensure all necessary equipment and supplies are available and in working order Assist surgeons during open heart and other cardiovascular surgeries Ensure strict adherence to sterile procedures to prevent infection Operate and monitor surgical equipment during procedures Provide patient care before, during, and after surgical procedures Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure effective patient care Proficiency in operating CVOR-specific equipment Strong understanding of sterile and aseptic techniques Excellent communication and teamwork skills Ability to adapt to diverse environments and situations Detail-oriented with exceptional organizational skills Medical Insurance Dental Insurance 401k Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
