Job Description:
Georgia Hospice Care (GHC) is seeking a compassionate and
skilled Registered Nurse to join our dedicated healthcare team. In
this vital role, you will provide end-of-life care, ensuring
comfort and quality of life for patients across various counties in
Georgia. As part of GHC, you will work in a supportive environment
where patient needs are prioritized and personal growth is
encouraged. This position offers the opportunity to make a profound
difference in the lives of patients and their families during their
most critical times. Provide direct nursing care in accordance with
the patients' care plan. Collaborate with multidisciplinary team
members to enhance patient comfort and quality of life. Monitor
patient health status and respond to changes in condition.
Administer medications and maintain records of symptoms and
progress. Educate patients and their families on end-of-life care
and support. Participate in the development and evaluation of care
programs. Strong clinical skills in a hospice or palliative care
setting. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability
to work collaboratively in a team environment. Proficient in using
healthcare software and patient databases. Medical Insurance Dental
Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current Registered
Nurse (RN) license in the state of Georgia. CPR certification
preferred. Certified Hospice and Palliative Nurse (CHPN)
certification is advantageous.
