In your role as a Cath Lab RN, you will work in highly technical environments, assisting with procedures like cardiac catheterizations, angioplasties, and implantations of cardiac devices, all vital for diagnosing and treating heart disease. Administer care to heart patients needing catheterizations and other cardiovascular procedures. Monitor patient vital signs and physical condition throughout procedures. Coordinate with healthcare team members to deliver effective patient care. Operate and understand all equipment within the cath lab. Educate patients and their families on post-procedure care and health management. Ensure stringent hygiene and sterilization techniques are followed. Proficient in monitoring and operating cath lab equipment Strong analytical and decision-making skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills High level of stamina and resilience Medical Insurance Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Georgia BLS/ACLS Certification required CCRN specialty certification preferred
