Job Description:
Gifted Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled, dedicated, and
compassionate Medical Surgical (MedSurg) Registered Nurse (RN) for
a travel assignment in Dothan, Alabama. This position offers the

standards. This role involves directly working with patients,
managing multiple cases, and utilizing a blend of clinical
expertise and interpersonal skills to ensure optimal patient
recovery. Provide direct nursing care in accordance with
established policies, procedures, and protocols of the healthcare
organization. Perform thorough assessments of patient conditions,
including monitoring and tracking vital signs, administering
medications, and documenting patient progress. Communicate
effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team
members to ensure a collaborative approach to patient care.
Identify patients’ needs, nursing diagnosis, implement nursing care
plans, and maintain accurate medical records. Administer
medications and assist in surgery or other medical procedures as
needed. Handle patient emergencies and other unforeseen situations
with promptness and professionalism. Educate patients and their
families on disease processes, medical-surgical procedures, and
other aspects of therapeutic regimens, including medication
management. Strong clinical skills in a MedSurg setting Ability to
operate medical equipment Proficient in nursing documentation
software Strong communication and interpersonal skills Critical
thinking and problem-solving skills Medical Insurance Dental
Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance Current Registered Nurse
(RN) license valid in the state of Alabama or a compact state
license. BLS/ACLS Certification from the American Heart Association
mandatory.
