Occupational Therapist Opportunity Kent, WA (Travel Assignment) We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to provide onsite support in an elementary school setting in Kent, WA. This travel assignment offers the chance to assist with an elementary caseload, primarily at East Hill Elementary. Flexibility to support other school sites within the district is highly preferred. Key Responsibilities: Deliver direct occupational therapy services to elementary-age students, implementing school-based interventions tailored to each childs Individualized Education Program (IEP). Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure effective integration of therapy goals within the school environment. Provide thorough documentation and progress reports in accordance with district and regulatory requirements. Maintain compliance with all school policies, including onsite service delivery (teletherapy is not accepted due to union guidelines). Adhere to supervision standards as no Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) will be permitted. Qualifications and Experience: Valid Occupational Therapy license with eligibility to practice in Washington State. ESA (Educational Staff Associate) certification is required. Previous experience working in school-based settings, particularly with elementary caseloads, is highly desirable. Strong communication skills and ability to adapt to a dynamic educational environment. Flexibility to support multiple school sites across the district. Location: Kent, Washington This is an onsite travel position, requiring presence within the assigned districts schools.
