Manager Visiting Nurse Health System (Visiting Nurse) is seeking a
Wound Care Program Manager (WCPM) who will oversee Visiting Nurse’s
wound care program. The WCPM is responsible for developing policies
and procedures for the care of patient wounds. They are responsible
for developing and overseeing wound care protocols and ensuring
clinician adherence. They act as liaisons to customers, including
VNHS clinicians, physicians, wound care programs, and other
referral sources. The ideal candidate provides leadership for
educational offerings and research programs to advance wound,
ostomy, and continence care and improve patient outcomes. This role

standards of care that will quickly and safely heal a variety of
wounds. Assess clinician adherence to standards. Provides or
recommends remediation necessary to ensure adherence. Reviews
targeted metrics and patient outcomes to evaluate the effectiveness
of the program. Modifies/updates the program to better meet the
needs of VNHS patients. Ensures there is a standardized supply
formulary that includes products that support the program's
financial resources and are safe and effective for patients. Leads
implementation across home health programs of evidence-based
practice in wound, continence, and ostomy care Consults with staff
nurses and provides education and direction when they are
confronted with a new or unfamiliar aspect of wound, continence,
and ostomy care. Introduces and evaluates innovative products,
programs, and technologies that enhance patient outcomes. Makes
recommendations for changes to the Director of Education and the
Leadership team. Collaborates with the Manager of Quality
Initiatives, Branch Directors, and other clinical leaders to ensure
current practice standards are met in the delivery of care.
Designs, implements, and evaluates educational activities which
promote professional development of nurses and other patient care
team members in wound, continence, and ostomy care. Identifies
recurring problems or systems in need of performance improvement.
Participates in and/or leads multidisciplinary performance
improvement teams. Compensation: $82,240 - $123,361 Do you have
Bachelor of Science degree is required. A master’s degree is
preferred. Graduate from an accredited Wound Ostomy and Continence
Nursing (WOCN) education program. Current licensure as an RN in the
State of Georgia. Certification as a Wound, Ostomy, and Continence
Nurse. CPR certification. 2 years of home health experience,
supervision/management in home health preferred Must have reliable
transportation, a GA driver’s license, and current vehicle
