Job Description Job Description Job Summary We are seeking an
experienced and skilled CT Technologist to join our diagnostic
imaging team. The CT Technologist performs high-quality computed
tomography (CT) scans to support physicians in diagnosing and
treating medical conditions. This role requires technical
expertise, strong patient-care abilities, and strict adherence to
radiation safety standards. Key Responsibilities Prepare and
properly position patients for CT imaging, ensuring comfort and
safety. Clearly explain procedures and address patient questions or
concerns. Operate CT scanners to produce high-quality diagnostic
images. Administer contrast agents under the direction of a
physician. Monitor patients during exams and respond to any adverse
reactions. Assess image quality to ensure diagnostic accuracy.
Maintain complete and accurate patient records and documentation.
Clean, calibrate, and perform routine maintenance on CT equipment.
Follow all radiation safety and infection control protocols.
Collaborate closely with radiologists, technologists, and other
healthcare team members. Stay current on new CT technologies,
techniques, and safety practices. Qualifications Associate’s or
Bachelor’s degree in Radiologic Technology or related field. ARRT
certification in Radiography and CT (required). State licensure (as
applicable). Current BLS/CPR certification . 1–2 years of clinical
imaging experience preferred. Strong knowledge of anatomy,
physiology, and medical terminology. Proficiency with PACS and
radiology information systems (RIS). Excellent communication and
interpersonal skills. Ability to work both independently and
collaboratively. Essential Requirements Associate’s degree or
higher in Radiologic Technology or similar field. Current ARRT/CT
certification and state licensure. Strong understanding of safety
requirements and ability to identify and correct hazardous
conditions. Knowledge of medical imaging equipment and patient-care
procedures. Ability to maintain effective communication with
radiologists and ancillary departments regarding protocols,
scheduling, and patient flow. Strong customer service skills and
ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
Flexibility in scheduling, including potential evenings, weekends,
