Job Description Job Description Salary: $65-$100 per hour The Well is a Christian Counseling Center and a ministry of Generations Church dedicated to providing compassionate, faith-based, clinical mental health services. We aim to support individuals, couples, and families by integrating professional mental health counseling and Biblical guidance. We are seeking a Licensed Therapist with a passion for ministry, mental health, and the integration of psychology and faith. Spiritual Criteria Can verbalize a strong faith in God. Has calling to work in mental health field. Demonstrates a clear (can be basic) understanding of key Biblical principles. Can articulate a clear values system. Clinical Criteria Graduated from CACREP accredited program in social work, marriage and family therapy, or mental health counseling. Licensed to provide mental health counseling services in the state of Georgia. Competent in assessing, diagnosing and treating mental health conditions and relational concerns. Proficient in developing and implementing appropriate treatment plans to address presenting concerns. Strong case conceptualization skills. Knowledge of crisis management. Trauma-informed. Committed to continue learning and niching in particular area of counseling or a therapeutic model. Agreement to complete Gottman Level One training or Relational Life Level One training for couples counseling, and DBT or CBT certification training for individual counseling. Demonstrates clear understanding of confidentiality principles, documentation and record keeping requirements, and Best Practice methods for treating various mental health conditions and treatment modalities. Available to be on site for at least 20 hours per week. Integration into Church culture Participation in weekly counseling center meetings which include Bible reading and prayer. Willing to participate in providing workshops and other therapeutic resources to church community, as needed.
