Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: NICU - Neonatal Intensive Care - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 03/02/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Job Description American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Level III Neonatal ICU position requiring a GA or compact RN license and NICU expertise. Responsibilities - Work in a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (Special Care Nursery) - Care for neonates with medical and/or surgical issues, including infants born at the hospital and select transfers - Utilizes ReCam ophthalmic imaging system, cardiac monitors, and warmer beds and isolettes - Day shift schedule: 7:00am to 7:30pm, 12-hour shifts, 3 shifts per week - No on-call responsibilities - Provide specialized care to premature and ill newborns in a high-acuity setting - Must request time off up front; no additional requests post-offer - Perm staff returning as travelers must have a 2-year break before being eligible - Hospital-issued scrubs are required per unit guidelines Requirements - Active GA or compact RN license required - Minimum 2 years of experience in neonatal or NICU specialty - Current BLS and NRP certifications required - Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible Benefits - High Pay and Bonuses - Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options - 401(k) Plan - Weekly Payroll Deposit - Free Online CEUs - Generous Housing Allowance - Travel and Licensure Reimbursements - Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy - Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-667513.
