Registered Nurse (RN) | Medical-Surgical Location: Stockbridge, GA Agency: Revolution Healthcare Services Pay: $1,642 per week Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 14 Weeks Start Date: 2/23/2026 About the Position Job Opportunity – Medical/Surgical Registered Nurse – Georgia Start Date: February 23, 2026 Location: Stockbridge, Georgia Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants Schedule: 12-hour shifts, 1:6 nurse-to-patient ratio, every other weekend, floating within facility as needed Highlights: Care for adult and geriatric patients with diverse diagnoses including appendicitis, cholecystitis, small bowel obstruction, pneumonia, COPD exacerbation, sepsis, and more Manage post-surgical patients following prostatectomy, appendectomy, cholecystectomy, ostomy procedures, and bowel resections Work with specialized equipment including NGTs, chest tubes, feeding tubes, and wound vacs 34-bed unit with average daily census of 27 patients utilizing Epic EMR, Pyxis, and SBAR communication Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and more Up to 7 days of requested time off available during assignment period Requirements: Active Georgia or Compact RN license (must be in hand at time of application) Minimum 2 years of nursing experience; first-time travelers accepted Current BLS and NIH Stroke Scale certifications required ACLS and CPI certifications preferred Experience with 1:6 patient ratios Proficiency in med/surg nursing, colostomy/ileostomy management, feeding tube care, peripheral line management, chest tube management, isolation precautions, and wound care/wound vac management Two supervisory references (Manager level or above) highly preferred Full compliance documentation required by the Tuesday prior to start date Ability to submit core items and complete/schedule labs within 48 hours of contract signing Why It's a Great Opportunity: This position offers the chance to develop expertise across a broad spectrum of medical and surgical conditions while working in a supportive environment with strong interdisciplinary collaboration.
