Our office primarily serves adult patients for recare and new visits, while periodontal treatments are referred to specialists. Enjoy 60-minute appointments with an average of 7-11 patients daily, supported by a Hygiene Assistant. Minimum Qualifications Current dental hygienist license in Illinois and an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene (as applicable) Strong understanding of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, patient screening, and medical history documentation CPR Certification Preferred Experience Open to both new graduates and experienced hygienists! Familiarity with Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanners, digital x-rays, and electronic medical record systems is a plus. A commitment to ongoing learning and enhancing clinical skills to meet patient needs and provide preventative care. Ability to address clinical needs as required by the office. Physical Requirements Capability to perform essential duties as required by the office/doctor with or without reasonable accommodation. Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds occasionally. Willingness to participate in virtual or in-person training sessions periodically throughout the year. To ensure a safe and healthy environment for both team members and patients, a tuberculosis (TB) test is mandatory for all new hires in dental office roles. This standard requirement must be completed before starting employment. The test will be arranged during the pre-employment process, with necessary guidance provided.
