Encompass Health Corporation, a leader in integrated healthcare services, is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dietitian to join our dynamic team. This role involves working across our extensive network, including inpatient rehabilitation hospitals and home health settings, to provide tailored nutritional care plans that support patient recovery and wellness. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in clinical nutrition and a passion for improving patient outcomes through personalized diet planning and education. Assess nutritional needs, diet restrictions, and current health plans to develop and implement dietary-care plans and provide nutritional counseling. Consult with physicians and healthcare personnel to determine nutritional needs and diet restrictions of patients. Advise patients and their families on nutritional principles, dietary plans, diet modifications, and food selection and preparation. Monitor and document patient progress and adjust meal plans as needed. Conduct patient education on topics such as managing chronic diseases, weight loss, and an overall healthy lifestyle through diet. Participate in multidisciplinary healthcare teams providing advanced, integrated patient care. Proven expertise in clinical nutrition. Strong interpersonal, counseling, and teaching skills. Ability to modify diets according to patient needs and medical conditions. Proficient in the use of dietary analysis software and Electronic Health Records (EHR). Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) credential required. Licensed Dietitian status as per state requirements where applicable.
