Springfield Location Full-Time: 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM Schedule: Monday
to Friday Role Summary: The Registered Nurse (RN) will perform
nursing responsibilities within both the clinic and hospital
settings, focusing on education for newly diagnosed diabetes
patients. This role includes providing Diabetes and Nutritional
Education Services for both inpatient and outpatient care.
Additionally, the RN will offer Endocrine Education to patients and
their families regarding conditions such as growth hormone
deficiency, adrenal insufficiency, precocious puberty, diabetic
insipidus, and various other endocrine disorders. Qualifications:
Education: Must be a graduate from an accredited nursing program.
Licensure: Current RN license from the Missouri State Board of
Nursing or a valid Missouri RN work permit. Certifications:
Certified Diabetes Educator Specialist (CDES) or a commitment to
obtain this certification within two years. Preferred
Certifications: CDES. Preferred Experience: Proven clinical
expertise in pediatrics and a strong background in diabetes
