Job Description Job Description Summary of the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Position: The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is responsible for delivering exceptional nursing care to patients within a collaborative healthcare environment, focusing on their physical, mental, and emotional health. Key duties include observing patient conditions, overseeing Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), and complying with healthcare regulations and standards. This role offers flexible shift options, sign-on bonuses, and avenues for professional advancement within a prominent healthcare organization. $5,000 Sign-on Bonus for Full-time LPN; Available Shifts: Days, Evenings, or Nights. Located just west of the Metro area, a short drive to our picturesque Evergreen community. As a vital member of our interdisciplinary team, the LPN will provide quality nursing care to patients through direct interaction and ensure that they achieve or maintain optimal physical, mental, and psychosocial health in line with all relevant laws, regulations, and organizational standards. Your responsibilities will include monitoring and reporting any changes in patient conditions. Daily tasks will also involve assigning duties, instructing, and providing clinical oversight to CNAs. Education, Experience, and Licensure Requirements: Completion of an accredited LPN program. Current licensure/registration in the relevant state. Must maintain an active Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) license in good standing throughout employment. Preferred: One (1) year of experience in skilled nursing. CPR certification required upon hire or to be obtained during orientation. CPR certification must remain current throughout employment. Specific Job Requirements: Ability to make independent decisions when necessary. Competently and knowledgeably provide quality nursing care to patients.
