Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Were seeking an experienced Night Shift Pharmacist for an inpatient hospital in southeast Alabama. This is a great opportunity for pharmacists who enjoy overnight workflows, autonomy, and a consistent 7-on / 7-off schedule. The assignment is contract-based with the potential to transition into a permanent role for the right fit. Position Highlights Inpatient hospital pharmacy setting Night shift role with a consistent 7-on / 7-off rotation ASAP start 13-week contract with potential temp-to-hire option Competitive weekly pay Travel-friendly opportunity in a non-metro area, with non-taxable weekly allowances for lodging, meals, and incidentals available Schedule 7 on / 7 off Nights: 9:00 PM 7:30 AM Key Responsibilities Verify medication orders in an inpatient setting Supervise and support pharmacy technicians during overnight shifts Collaborate with physicians and nursing staff regarding medication therapy and clinical questions Ensure safe, accurate, and timely medication distribution Maintain compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory standards Provide clinical judgment and decision-making support during overnight hours Required Qualifications Active and unrestricted Alabama Pharmacist license Recent hospital pharmacy experience Ability and willingness to work overnight shifts Strong clinical judgment and communication skills Ability to work independently while supporting overnight operations This role is ideal for pharmacists who prefer nights, value schedule consistency, and want a solid inpatient experience with strong compensation and travel support.
