Job Description Job Description Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Physician Opportunity - Atlanta, GA This role is available for a part-time or full-time physician specializing in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation with a focus on wound care management in post-acute care environments. Physicians will deliver bedside wound treatment in skilled nursing and long-term acute care facilities across various locations, with the support of paid training and a specialized fellowship in wound care. The position offers flexible scheduling, with no night, weekend, or on-call responsibilities, along with comprehensive benefits and a competitive salary. No night shifts, no on-call duties, and no weekend responsibilities. Become proficient in wound management by learning from experienced, certified physician trainers and Fellowship Directors. Utilize advanced clinical technologies and the latest wound care techniques. Our physicians provide bedside wound care in over 3,200 facilities across 28 states. We offer physician-level training in wound management and a fellowship to equip you with the knowledge and skills for clinical excellence. Full-time W2 physicians typically earn around $300,000 annually, in addition to benefits. Enjoy autonomy and flexibility in your work schedule, generally a 45-hour work week for full-time roles. Paid training is included. Qualifications: Possession of an active, unrestricted medical license (MD/DO) in the state where you intend to practice. A minimum commitment of three weekdays per week is required. Practice Details: Full-time hours: Monday to Friday (7 AM - 4 PM), with part-time options available. No on-call or weekend clinical duties. Physicians provide contemporary wound management at the bedside in post-acute care settings, including Skilled Nursing Facilities and Long-Term Acute Care Hospitals. Weekly wound rounds are conducted at each facility. Part-time roles require a minimum of three days per week, while full-time roles typically involve four to five days per week. This is a mobile practice, with physicians visiting facilities within a 40 to 60-mile radius of their practice location. Physicians will visit 2-3 facilities daily, treating approximately 20-30 patients each day. Clinical documentation is performed in real-time during rounds using our proprietary wound-specific electronic medical record system. Paid training is provided during onboarding, along with a six-month wound care fellowship. This position is offered as a W2 employment contract (please note that work visa sponsorship is not available). Benefits: Comprehensive health and retirement benefits are included.
