Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A specialized nursing opportunity is available for experienced Registered Nurses with a focus on Pediatric Intensive Care. This contract role is based in Auburn, NY, offering valuable experience in a dynamic and advanced clinical setting. Qualifications: Current New York State RN license. BLS certification with the ability to maintain recertification. Minimum of 3 years recent experience (within the last 2 years) in a Pediatric ICU at a Level 1 or Level 2 trauma center. Previous experience working with EPIC Electronic Medical Records is preferred. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Must have a clean professional record, with no license suspensions or professional liability claims. Legal right to work in the U.S., plus successful completion of pre-employment health screening, drug test, and criminal background check. Schedule/Hours: Day shifts. Every other weekend and some holidays required. Responsibilities: Perform comprehensive patient care and assessments independently within an acute care PICU setting. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care. Utilize EPIC EMR system to document and manage patient information (preferred).
