Job Description:
Summary: The Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) is
responsible for providing respiratory care to patients with
cardiopulmonary disorders. This role includes assessing, treating,
and managing patients of all ages, collaborating with healthcare
teams, and ensuring high-quality, evidence-based respiratory care.
Responsibilities: Administer respiratory therapy treatments,
including oxygen therapy, aerosolized medications, chest
physiotherapy, and airway management. Initiate, manage, and monitor
mechanical ventilation and non-invasive ventilation (NIV). Perform
emergency procedures including CPR, airway management, and rapid
response support. Evaluate patients’ responses to treatment and
adjust plans as needed.
