Job Title: Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Profession: Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics Specialty: RRT Duration: 14 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours (06:30 - 19:00) Experience: Minimum 1 year License: GA RRT License Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS Must-Have: Trauma experience required; Pediatric intubated patients experience preferred Description: Candidates with a minimum of 1 year of experience are encouraged to apply. This role involves working with a diverse patient population, ranging from infants to geriatrics. The primary focus is on adult respiratory therapy. Candidates will manage non-invasive ventilation, conventional ventilation, and aerosol therapy. Additional responsibilities include performing bedside pulmonary function tests and drawing arterial blood gases. Patient education and oxygen management are also key components of the role. Trauma experience is required, along with proficiency in pulmonary function testing, particularly spirometry. Travelers must be available to work on major holidays as scheduled. Compliance with all requirements is essential for timely onboarding.
