programsAnd moreDescription:Supervises day to day operations of
mammography services. Works closely with the Manager of the Breast
Imaging Center.Assists radiologists in performing invasive and
non-invasive mammographic and sonographic procedures. Works in a
relatively independent manner.Assures optimal level of patient care
at all time. Performs all the functions of a Mammography
Technologist II.Assists in administrative activities such as budget
planning, identifying means of cost containment, coordinating
staffing schedules and ensuring communication regarding areas of
concern.Facilitates patient / family education efforts by assessing
the need for intervention, providing staffing coverage, and
supporting and reinforcing clinical instruction.Maintains records
for service and compliance with internal and external regulatory
guidelines. Actively participates in preparation of regulatory
agency reviews such as ACR reaccredidation, yearly updates and FDA
on-site inspections.Assists in interviewing process, makes
recommendations for adequate staffing. Assures the availability of
equipment and supplies for all procedures; orders supplies as
needed.Performs the duties of Quality Control Coordinator to comply
with MQSA regulations. Serves as arbitrator in resolution of
conflicts between staff. Verifies staff time worked and prepares
time sheets for payroll in accordance with policy.Handles patient
questions or problems with tact and sound judgment. Demonstrates
advanced leadership and supervisory skills.MINIMUM
QUALIFICATIONS:Must be a graduate of an accredited school of
Radiologic Technology and registered with the ARRT.Must have a
minimum of four (4) years experience in diagnostic and invasive
mammography.A minimum of one (1) year supervisory experience or one
(1) year as a Level 3 Mammography technologist is required.JOIN OUR
