The Manager of the Columbus Clinic provides leadership and direction to the registration staff. The manager will oversee daily operations and competencies of the department. Manages registration, medical records, call-center operators, and referral/ authorization staff. This individual shall sets goals and performance indicators for patient registration/access functions across the clinic -including, but not limited to, scheduling, insurance verification/prior authorization, pre-registrations and registration, and TOS/balance collections. This position supports a cohesive and capable revenue cycle by collaborating with patient access and CBO staff to ensure accurate and timely input of patient demographic and insurance information. Ensure the operations of the practice related to revenue-cycle and patient access run smoothly, regular staff meetings are held between all departments and physicians, departmental policies and procedures are maintained and adhered to, and the budget is monitored. Oversee the retention of office staff and use/purchase of supplies, manage insurance and patient aging sheets, and handle front-end related functions within the office as needed. Minimum Education X High school diploma or equivalent X Required X Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Public Administration, or related fieldX Preferred Required Skills Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action. Minimum Work Experience One (1) year supervisory experience in a healthcare environment. Two (2) years of experience in a high capacity healthcare environment.
