Summary:

The General Manager is responsible for leading an organization consisting of sales, operations, and administrative teams while providing outstanding service to our customers and achieving financial objectives. This position requires an extremely organized individual with a keen attention to detail and the flexibility to work with different aspects of a business. A key task is the development and expansion of our sales team. ADS sells to both residential and commercial customers across a broad geography. Recruiting, hiring, training and retaining exceptional sales talent is a critical component of job performance. This role will nurture and work with the teams to future proof their capabilities as new technologies and market conditions emerge. The General Manager Branch Manager must be a role model to the organization with regards to integrity, commitment to results, inspiring teamwork and building on our strong culture of employee recognition while delivering legendary service to our customers.

Essential Job Duties:

  • Drives the branch to achieve business goals and objectives; and meet/surpass sales, profitability, cash flow
  • Lead the branch in developing and implementing plans for the operational infrastructure of systems, processes, and personnel designed to accommodate the rapid and sustainable growth objectives of our organization
  • Motivates,develops and leads a high-performance and growth-oriented team; attract, recruit and retain sales, operations, and administrative team
  • Communicatesand implements the effective growth strategies and processes prescribed by the Company
  • Supports short-termand long-range planning and budget development
  • Reports timely and accurately on the operating condition of the branch
  • Participatesin the evaluation and successful integration of new company acquisition candidates
  • Fostersa success-oriented, accountable, and proactive environment within the Company

      Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

      • Knowledge of general accounting principles
      • Strong knowledge of operational budgeting and financial statements
      • Strong emphasis on strategic analysis

        Minimum Qualifications:

        • 5 years management experience
        • High School Diploma or Equivalent
        • Intermediate PC skills including Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, and Outlook
        • Possess a valid driver's license
        • Eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship

          Preferred Qualifications:

          • 4 year degree
          • Operations and sales experience
          • Experience in security or similar industry

            Physical Demands:

            • Ability to operate computer, phone and other office equipment as needed
            • Ability to work effectively using a personal computer for long periods of time
            • Ability to sit/stand at workstation for extended periods of time
            • Ability to travel up to 15% of the time between branch locations, work sites, etc. including auto and air travel
            • Ability to read, write, speak, hear, see, think, communicate, concentrate, learn, and work
            • Ability to perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation
