Maintenance Foreman Supervises and coordinates daily mechanical maintenance activities within a chemical manufacturing environment. Leads craft personnel to ensure work is completed safely, on schedule, and in compliance with site, OSHA, and site standards. Specific Duties and Responsibilities: Direct and supervise mechanical maintenance crews (mechanics, pipefitters, welders, etc.). Plan, assign, and monitor daily maintenance work activities. Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and permit requirements. Coordinate with operations, maintenance planning, and contractors. Review work orders, drawings, and P&IDs. Monitor job progress, quality, manpower, and materials. Lead toolbox talks, JSAs, and incident/nearâ??miss reporting. Respond to equipment failures and emergency maintenance needs. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. 5 years of industrial mechanical experience; chemical facility experience preferred. Prior lead or foreman experience preferred. Strong knowledge of mechanical and piping systems. Requirements: Must have strong customer service and employee relations skills. Must work overtime, callâ??ins, and outages as needed. Ability to work in hazardous industrial environments. Valid driver’s license required.
