Job Description:
Master Meter Field Technicians work closely with the sales team
and distributor partners to provide world-class service to our
customers. Field Technicians maintain and troubleshoot smart water
meters and communication systems, provide support, feedback and
training to utility partners, and track data to report activity.
Candidates for this position should be prepared to fully understand
and represent our business, adhere to safety practices and be
comfortable in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment. Travel is

time. Primary Duties - Provide technical support for AMR/AMI
systems on-site. - Install AMR/AMI equipment when required, or
oversee larger installations. - Diagnose issues with communication
systems, electrical systems and software tools. - Maintain good
communication with property staff, responding to questions and
provide updates or changes to management. - Maintain documentation
and reporting. - Follow-up and communicate with timeliness and
accuracy. - Ability to work as part of a team across functional
lines to obtain information, coach, and influence others to improve
operational effectiveness and understanding. - Work with a high
level of integrity and professionalism. Requirements - Associate of
Applied Science Degree or equivalent combination of education and
experience. - Installation, basic electronics, or equivalent
experience (preferred). - One-year technical customer service
experience (preferred). - Ability to install, repair, and maintain
products and systems both internally and in the field. - Knowledge
of meter technologies (water, gas and/or electric) with various
radio frequency (RF) transmitter and data collection devices
preferred. - A keen interest in acquiring necessary skills with an
ability to learn quickly. - Ability to diagnose technical and/or
operational problems. - Ability to research, understand and/or
analyze data.; and complete work orders utilizing computer and
manual data entry methods. - Ability to write technical reports
that can be utilized throughout the company. - A keen willingness
to help the team and learn new skills (essential). - Basic computer
skills with a strong tendency towards Excel or Data Bases (strongly
preferred). - Clean driving record, a valid drivers license, a
clean criminal background, and eligible to work in the U.S.
(essential). - Well-developed time management and organizational
skills as well as strong communication skills. Physical
Requirements - Willingness to travel within a defined region
(approximately 80% overnight Travel) - Must be physically fit; able
to frequently bend and periodically lift 50lbs - Able to work/move
at the required pace without direct supervision - Interact verbally
