Job Description Job Description Maintenance Technician Job Description We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to perform advanced troubleshooting and preventative maintenance on mechanical and electrical systems. You will own a functional process area, mentor less experienced staff, and ensure a safe work environment by following safety and food safety requirements. Responsibilities Conduct advanced troubleshooting of mechanical systems and sub-systems. Perform advanced electrical troubleshooting of equipment. Execute preventative maintenance tasks to maximize uptime. Take ownership of a functional process area. Mentor and train less experienced maintenance staff. Adhere to safety and food safety requirements, including PPE and LOTO. Provide feedback to Planner on preventative maintenance tasks and schedules. Perform daily facility walkthroughs and inspections. Utilize CMMS for work orders, scheduling, and compliance. Be available on-call for off-hour critical failures. Develop and maintain good working relationships within the organization. Maintain tools, supplies, and a clean, organized work area. Operate powered industrial equipment, such as scissor lifts and forklifts. Essential Skills Deep knowledge of mechanical and/or electrical systems. Strong problem-solving skills. Proficiency in reading electrical schematics and using volt/ohm meters. Experience with electrical systems (120, 240, 480VAC, 24VDC). Additional Skills & Qualifications Some HVAC/Hydronic experience preferred. Welding skills preferred, including MIG, TIG, stick, aluminum, and stainless steel. Knowledge of water and filtration systems, pumps, and plumbing. Experience in preventative and predictive maintenance. Why Work Here? Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $35.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
