DescriptionDevelop, implement, and integrate manufacturing
processes for gas turbine engines by applying lean philosophies and
techniques. Along with Project Management, Mfg. Engineer activities
will include specific technical assignments designated by the Team
Leader; executing tasks independently and with team members. Cyient
programs are directly affiliated with Pratt & Whitney sites located
in East Hartford & Middletown, CT, Columbus, GA, West Palm Beach,
FL, and North Berwick, Maine. .Manufacturing Engineer
responsibilities include (but not limited to): Troubleshoot
manufacturing process issues, test turn-backs and implement
corrective action to prevent re-occurrence. Perform preliminary
Manufacturing Review Board (MRB) activities. Develop appropriate
rework planning. Compose and maintain job instruction sheets and
routings. Apply Statistical Process Control (SPC) and other
continuous improvement tools to achieve manufacturing / quality
goals. Develop and validate tooling concepts. Support offshore and
client teams by providing relevant documents (drawings, engineering
data, etc.). Follow Manufacturing Standard Work (MSW) guidelines /
processes / procedures. Ensure export / ITAR compliance for project
deliverables. Introduce cost savings proposals and collaborate on
initiatives in respect to Achieving Competitive Excellence (ACE)
programs. Support implementation of Root Cause / Corrective Action
(RCCA) activities. Experience / Qualifications Experience with
Solumina, Process Failure Modes & Effects Analysis (PFMEA),
Production Parts Approval Process (PPAP), New Product Introduction
(NPI),Engineering Changes (EC's), SAP, data analysis, and technical
research. Demonstrate a high level of customer focus, organization
/ communication skills. Exhibit a genuine passion to deliver
superior results; exceeding expectations. Perform work effectively
and efficiently in a team environment. Infuse a culture of
inclusion. Demonstrate meticulous attention-to-detail and uphold
high standards of ethics and integrity. Exemplify a high degree of
self-confidence, and motivation. Proficient in Microsoft Office
Suite. Experience with SAP & Solumina preferred. US Citizen or
Green Card holder. Security verification is mandatory employment
consideration. Education Requirements Bachelor's Degree (BS) in
Mechanical Engineering Associate of Science (AS) with 2+ years'
experience - or - appropriate coursework / education/ training in
the manufacturing field. Travel Requirements 10% (+/-) Shift 1st
