environment. We are seeking an exceptional senior instructional
leader to serve as Regional Superintendent – Atlanta, overseeing
multiple schools and ensuring strong academic outcomes across the
region. Superintendents at Movement Schools serve as regional
leaders who drive the success of our schools and principals. In
this role, you will manage the implementation of the organization’s
vision, mission, and goals; oversee outstanding instruction and
operations; and coach principals to deliver exceptional results for

invite you to apply. What You’ll Do You’ll lead with clarity and
purpose to turn vision into results across schools. Management of
Academic Programs Use data and daily school visits to coach and
partner with principals to continuously improve instruction,
teacher development, special education programming, curriculum
implementation, and assessment practices Support principals in
building strong, equity-centered cultures for staff, students, and
families Coach and support principals in planning and delivering
high-quality summer and school-year professional development
Support principals in strategic hiring and talent development of
teachers and school staff Ensure alignment and consistency of
academic programs across the region Management and Development of
Principals and Instructional Leaders Provide frequent formal and
informal feedback to principals, including annual evaluations Plan
and oversee training for principal fellows and network
instructional leaders Recruit, interview, and cultivate strong
instructional leadership talent Lead and execute high-impact
principal professional development across the region Build personal
and professional networks to develop a pipeline of future school
leaders Regional and Network Leadership Build and sustain a strong
“one network” culture across schools Ensure assessments, reporting
systems, and data processes are implemented with fidelity Research
and disseminate best practices from within Movement and across the
sector Partner with the CEO and network leaders to implement
regional initiatives and organizational priorities Support
compliance with state, federal, and authorizer requirements Foster
relationships with regional boards and external stakeholders
Partner with network teams to support development, marketing,
enrollment, and recruitment efforts Financial & Operational
Stewardship Ensure budgets align with regional and network goals
Make sound instructional and fiscal recommendations and decisions
Oversee facility management to ensure safe, efficient, and
well-maintained school environments Ensure responsible stewardship
of financial and physical resources Who We’re Looking For We’re
seeking a mission-driven leader who brings both strategic vision

effectively in writing, public speaking, and interpersonal settings
Inspire and influence diverse stakeholders while building strong,
cooperative relationships Multitask effectively and prioritize
strategically Demonstrate maturity, humility, a strong work ethic,
follow-through, responsiveness to feedback, and a
“roll-up-my-sleeves” attitude Bring a sense of humor and a
team-oriented mindset Required Qualifications You’ll bring senior
leadership experience and a strong record of school improvement.
Bachelor’s degree required (advanced degree in education, public
policy, or related field preferred) Successful experience as a
principal, head of school, or portfolio leader serving
predominantly underserved communities Proven, multi-year track
record of exemplary student achievement outcomes Demonstrated
experience coaching and developing adults Must reside in the
Atlanta metro area or surrounding region Commitment to Movement
Schools’ mission and values Preferred Qualifications Additional
experience that strengthens your candidacy. Experience leading or
overseeing multiple schools Experience in charter or choice-based
school environments Strong background in equity-centered leadership
and culturally responsive school culture Experience partnering with

Compensation & Schedule This full-time role aligns with the
academic calendar and provides meaningful growth in a
purpose-driven environment. Starting Salary: $150,000 (salary
placement based on experience and role alignment) Employment Type:
Full-Time Benefits: Comprehensive benefits package available for
eligible employees Schedule: Follows the academic calendar with
pre-scheduled summer responsibilities for planning and preparation
Additional Commitments: Occasional evenings or weekends for family
