Job Description Job Description Summary The Overnight Care Daycare Teacher provides safe, nurturing supervision for children during overnight hours. This role supports bedtime routines, ensures a calm sleep environment, monitors children’s health and safety, and maintains accurate overnight documentation while following all licensing and center policies. Duties Supervise children safely during overnight hours Assist with bedtime routines and nighttime comfort Maintain a calm, clean, and secure sleep environment Perform diapering/toileting and hygiene as needed Monitor health and report concerns or incidents Complete overnight logs and communicate updates to staff/parents Follow all licensing, safety, and center policies Requirements Must be at least 18 years of age High school diploma or GED required Experience in childcare or overnight care preferred Current CPR/First Aid certification Current CDA or ability to obtain within 4 months Ability to remain awake, alert, and attentive during overnight shifts Knowledge of child safety, hygiene, and sleep routines Must pass background check and meet state licensing requirements
