A K-12 school district in Woodland, CA, is seeking an experienced School Psychologist to join on a contract basis for the 2026-2027 school year. This role involves providing per diem coverage as the district's designated substitute psychologist, stepping in when regular staff members are absent. The assignment offers a unique opportunity to engage with a very small caseload, requiring the ability to adapt quickly and support students effectively. Responsibilities: Provide psychological services to K-12 students, including assessments, interventions, and consultations. Serve as the designated school psychologist substitute on a per diem basis. Seamlessly manage a small caseload and adjust to the needs of the district as required. Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to support student success. Maintain accurate documentation and comply with district policies and state regulations. Qualifications: Must hold a current California School Psychologist license. Experience working in K-12 school settings preferred. Ability to work onsite in Woodland, CA. Strong communication and organizational skills. Comfortable managing varied tasks and stepping into established roles on short notice. This position is onsite only, with work beginning on August 20, 2026, and concluding on June 4, 2027.
