Guitar Center, a leader in musical instrument retail, is seeking a skilled Guitar Repair Tech to join our technical support team. This role specializes in the maintenance, repair, and restoration of guitars, providing high-quality service to our customers. The ideal candidate will possess detailed knowledge of guitar mechanics and a passion for music. You will work directly with customers to assess and meet their service needs, ensuring their instruments perform at their best. Evaluate and diagnose issues with guitars to determine necessary repairs or maintenance. Perform setups, fret work, structural repairs, and electronic work. Advise customers on maintenance practices and potential upgrades. Maintain detailed records of services performed and parts used. Stay current with industry trends and advances in guitar repair technology. Profound knowledge of guitar mechanics and construction. Experience with woodworking tools and electronics related to guitars. Ability to troubleshoot and solve complex problems. Exceptional customer service and communication skills. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Certification from a recognized luthiery school is highly regarded but not required.
